Week 8: Final draft sketch
Craft: I made this picture using pen to paper. There were not many steps that went with it. I simply came up with the idea of two radios performing and then drew what I envisioned.
Composition: I drew the picture the way it did so that you can clearly tell which radio is good and which is bad. On the top part is the angry radio that plays the same tunes over and over which leaves the listeners upset and wanting to escape. On the divider a door was added so that they can go through and escape the noise. On the other side is a happy looking radio that provides music that people actually want to listen to. I drew both radios large so that the viewer has to look at them first and see the faces on them.
Concept: The picture is of two radios playing music to an audience. The one is "ordinary radio" and plays music that no one wants to hear. The other is happy and playing music that everyone wants to listen to. I'm trying to portray that ordinary radio is not fun to listen to while escaping from it to a new station can give you music worth listening and dancing to.
